by way of Houston
Trying to forget the bullshit
covering the places I’ve been

Moving out just after sunset
packed my bags and split
on the road I can’t turn around
w/o making myself sick

Watching my dreams wash away
like a castle in the sand
Down the sidewalk to the drain
and out to sea again
